Whale Push to Fit Shut Off Valve

In the 4000 series vans the Whale Push to Fit Shut Off Valve is a versatile and reliable component designed as an easy way to service your pumps with draining your whole system.  This valve features a 15mm push-fit connection on both ends, allowing for quick and easy installation without the need for additional tools or adhesives. Constructed from glass-filled polypropylene, the valve is durable and resistant to high pressures, while the piping is made from polyethylene, ensuring longevity and reliability. The valve incorporates Whale’s unique “Double Gripper” design, which provides secure lifelong tube retention, even under excessive pressures. The collet has an internal support ring that ensures the O-ring seal is held in position and does not distort or leak under pressure. The tube-supporting “cage collet” design eliminates leaks where fittings are close to tight bends, and the outer sleeve incorporates a collet cover, preventing accidental tube release..  The valve is designed to handle cold water pressures up to 180 PSI at 68°F and hot water pressures up to 90 PSI at 150°F. It is compatible with Whale plastic tubing and grooved stems, and is part of Whale’s Quick Connect system, which ensures high integrity and reliable plumbing. The push-fit design simplifies the installation process, allowing for quick and secure connections, and the simple two-step installation procedure does not require any special tools to make a watertight connection. Components can be easily removed by pushing in on the collet and pulling the tubing out, making system alterations straightforward.
